The long-awaited carbon steel Garberg packs an heavy-duty 3.2mm thick carbon steel blade with a blackened blade to give it a forced style patina to provide protection from corrosion. It is purposefully designed for bushcraft. This new full-tang model has been highly anticipated by knife fans around the world. With bushcraft in mind, Mora made both the pommel and the blade spine, fire-steel ready. The Scandi grind on the blade makes this knife easier to sharpen. This blade is thick enough for heavy batoning but yet not so thick that it becomes useless for finer work like making feather sticks or carving needed camp tools.
The symmetrical handle keeps the knife steady and comfortable in the hand and facilitates using the knife upside down. A hole is included in the handle for attaching a lanyard. This knife comes with the new Mora Multimount sheath for multiple carry options, including mounting on a MOLLE platform.
